Recently I received a mail from a lad named Mark Battle. I was going to write a reply via e-mail but given the nature of the question thought it might be a good idea to answer it here as I’m sure it will no doubt apply to somebody else out there.
Hey Christian,
I have a question to ask if you don’t mind!!!
I’m an aspiring filmmaker and am about to purchase a Canon 7d (the regular kit with whatever lens comes with the kit)
I don’t have much money at this point, but what do I have to do to achieve the results you are getting? Can I come close with what comes in the kit or do I realistically need to spend a zillion dollars more on additional lenses/accessories to catch up to your beautiful footage?
Any info would be of tremendous value to me!!!! Thank you very much!!!sincerely,
Mark B
I’m no expert, but I am happy to share what I decided to do when buying the 7D after using a bunch of different camera’s and doing quite a bit of reading and research.
