Going with a Pro Photographer who has a ton of Canon prime glass but no movie body, so hoping to have a body myself by then to use his glass. Don't work too hard and enjoy those Sunsets....hahahha. Hey my name is Ian I'm known around the coast as Rambo and i shoot mostly Outrigger canoe races and other paddle sports here and OS. Up until now i've also shot mostly on a HD Video cam but lately as been bitten by the VDSLR bug as well, especially since the 5Dm2, D300s, GH1 and now the 7D have come on the scene. Like you been following Canon/Nikon Rumours and Philip Bloom daily and blown away by the footage from these cams. I also live here at Mooloolaba and i'm on the water most days paddling or looking for video footage opportunity (chasing colour ...haha). Love the stuff you're doing, mostly my stuff is action footage shot on auto as i don't have time to adjust cameras while filming from the back of a jetski. However, as i said, i'm bitten by the beautiful filmic images these VDLSR's are producing and now this quality is finally affordable by hacks like me. Hey when you get back and have time, would love to hook up and share some chatter about these things, i'm sure there's lot's i could learn from you and maybe shoot some stuff together sometime.
