To say that I have been hanging out for the Canon announcement at the start of this month would be seriously understating things.
I have been checking Canon Rumors almost every couple of hours, my eyes ravenously devouring every new post that appears on there.
Reason being, I am extremely interested in seeing what happens with the 50D replacement, which if you believe some of what’s going round, should be here around September 1st. The 500D, while good, has some severe limitations and I’m hoping that the 50D replacement (possibly to be called a 60D) will have a functional 1080P mode, manual controls and hopefully, but I doubt it, a higher flash sync speed.
So lets all keep our fingers crossed for that one.
If you’re interested, check out Canon Rumors yourself and see what’s going on.
Also I’m currently in the process of writing Part 2 of the Tools of the Trade articles, so stay tuned for that one soon.
Later. . .
