So it’s not much of a nice day today, it’s grey outside, the light is flat and uninviting. It’s hard to make things look lovely when all the sky conveys is a sense of how comforting a big snuggly blanket, a good movie and freshly popped popcorn would be. So what is one to do?
Well I’ve seen a lot of sky replacement techniques doing the rounds for still photographs in Real Estate, but never really seen them embraced in video. Probably because the task is alot more difficult. Sure you could key the sky to a horribly fake shade of blue (I may have tried this before! 
) and hope for the best, but today I’ve decided to give a new technique a go with some masking inside after effects. I’m not sure if it will work, but I’ll give it a go and report back.
